Charles A. McCallum, III knows business issues, big and small. He has deep experience in complex business law, commercial litigation, business torts, unfair and deceptive trade practices, contract law and corporate securities litigation including shareholder disputes.

He serves on the Board of Directors of Progress Bank, a top 10 Alabama-based bank. Prior to its merger with Progress Bank, Chip was Chairman of the Board of Birmingham’s First Partners Bank. On a local level, he is a Trustee of the Vestavia Hills Chamber of Commerce, where he has previously served as its President, General Counsel and Board Member. With a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Alabama, Chip understands the financial aspects of business operations.

From 2011-2020 Chip has been recognized on the Super Lawyer’s list for Business Litigation. A member of the Alabama Bar for more than 30 years, his court admissions include U.S. District Court Northern District of Alabama. District Court Middle District of Alabama and the U.S. Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit.

In his free time, Chip watches LaBella ride horses and waterski, occasionally golfs and can be found at the closest Green Egg attempting to perfect the art of grilling.
